# Phase 2 Only

> Bring a supported DP already on Ubuntu 24.04 to DP 6.6.0 without OS-hop preparation.

# Phase 2 Only

Use **Phase 2 Only** when the DP is already on Ubuntu 24.04 and requires the current DP 6.6.0 bringup.

## Mirror Server behavior

In this mode, Menu 2:

* skips Cloudflare R2 OS Core preparation
* skips all Ubuntu hop mirror material
* downloads/reuses the DP 6.6.0 Phase 2 artifacts from ACPS
* verifies checksums
* publishes the Phase 2 bundle and client files through the Mirror Server

## DP-side behavior

Menu 7 omits the Ubuntu 16.04 → 24.04 hop commands. It still generates the common prerequisite/staging steps required on every target node.

For clustered deployments, final bringup remains master-driven:

* DL master orchestrates its DL workers
* DA master orchestrates its DA workers

For AIO or single-node, run the generated procedure directly on that DP.

## Before execution

Even though no OS-hop chain is required:

* create the required hypervisor snapshot
* verify Menu 4 reports `PASS`
* ensure every target node is Ubuntu 24.04
* use the latest Menu 7 output generated for the current Mirror Server IP
* validate NTP, DNS, storage, and cluster connectivity as required by the generated preflight

## Target

The current Mirror Manager Phase 2 target is **6.6.0**. Older 6.5.0 `bringup_py3 --skip-download` runbooks are historical references and are not the active workflow documented here.
